Joe Luby - Sales/Internet Coordinator Joe has been with the Sugar Loaf Ford sales team since 1992. He grew up in Zimmerman and has made Winona his home. He and his wife Lori keep busy with their three boys, Treyton, Tyler and Tanner. In his spare time he enjoys racquetball, motorcycling and computers. Joe is active in MSRA, on the leadership board at the Church of Christ and serves on the board of directors for River Way Charter School. Being the son of a mechanic, Joe has a vast knowledge of vehicles and has found that it is a pleasure to match a person with the right vehicle that meets their needs and their budget.

Sherry Hovell - Sales Representative Born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and raised in Nelson, Wisconsin Sherry attended the Alma Area Schools and graduated in 1981. That same year she began her automotive career at TRW building parts for Ford, Chrysler & GM. However, her sales career was launched when she came to Sugar Loaf Ford in November of 2000. She resides in Minnesota City with her husband Ben and two sons, Chad and Adam. Sherry enjoys quilting, camping, hunting and fishing, but above all she enjoys people. Stop by and experience her enthusiasm for helping customers fill their automotive needs.

Michael Walski - Sales Representative Mike Walski, ("Big Wally" to his friends) was born and raised in Winona and grew up in the car business. His Father, Don Walski, owned and operated Don's Auto Sales in Winona for over 40 years. Some of Mike's fondest memories are of tagging along with his Dad to the Iowa and Wisconsin auto auctions and learning everything there was to know about vehicles. When he was old enough, he detailed cars for his Dad and attended Winona Area Vocational School majoring in auto body repair. In 1978 he and his wife Pam opened River Valley Auto Sales and operated it successfully together for 12 years. Other than a short time at another dealer, Mike has been with us since 1990. Mike has been a member of the Elks Club for 24 years. He also is a member of the YMCA, the Goodview Activity Group, American Legion, and Westfield Golf Club. You'll find him cheering on his Son Shaun & his -Son-In-Law, Keith Foss, both late model stock car driver, spending time with his wife, daughter, Christina, her husband, Keith, son Shaun & his wife Katie and most of all, his beautiful Granddaughter, Avery. He also enjoys bowling, hunting and fishing and golfing.

Scott Florin - Sales Representative Scott was born and raised in the Winona area. He joined our sales staff in September of 2005 and has 28 years of sales and customer service experience. Scott and his wife Linda have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. He enjoys playing golf, cycling, racquetball and watching football. Scott also enjoys cooking, baking homemade breads, grilling and smoking foods. Scott's favorite quote is "The ultimate measure of a Man is his service to people". Jim Jorgenson - Sales Representative Jim joined our sales team in November 2005 and comes to us with 28 years experience in the car business. Jim was born and raised in Spring Valley, Minnesota and moved to Winona in 1993. He has 3 children and 5 grandsons and enjoys playing golf, gourmet cooking, and watching all Minnesota sports. He looks forward to serving you on all your vehicle needs.

Derek J. Puetz - Sales Representative Derek J. Puetz is the most recent representative to join our dynamic sales team. Derek was born & raised in Altura, Minnesota and describes himself as having a "passion for automobiles" He's 2009 graduate of Lewiston-Altura High School and recently graduated from the Sales Representative program at Winona SE Technical College. He worked in detailing in our Service Department for two years and that's where he determined that he wanted to be a Sales Representative. His enthusiasm is infectious! He loves cars, particularly fast ones, baseball and his family and friends. In his spare time he plays basketball, shines his personal car and studies car brochures. Derek lives in Altura and has one older brother whom he considers to be his best friend. Derek invites you to stop by and help him on his path to greatness in the car business!

Rick Torkelson - Sales Representative With 26 years in the automotive business, Ricky Torkelson is a walking reference library of information on all makes & models of vehicles. Throughout his career in the automotive industry he’s worn many hats. In addition to being a top notch sales person he’s held positions as New & Used Car Sales Manager, & Parts & Service Manager. Ricky grew up in Harmony, Minnesota, the middle child in a family of seven. In 1979 he graduated from the Harmony High School and has a degree in Sales Management from Mankato Technical College. In his off time he’s a cash crop farmer and enjoys his country cabin with his family. Ricky lives with his wife, Nina and children Jared and Kyli in Rushford, Minnesota. Shawn Hutmacher - Sales Representative Shawn grew up in beautiful Winona, attending Cotter High School and graduating from UW Stout with a degree in Retail Merchandising and Management. After graduation, she worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in the Twin Cities. She has an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute International in Minneapolis and worked for six years for the International Speedway Corporation which owns twelve NASCAR speedways nationwide. Shawn and her daughter, Elliana, recently returned to Winona from Daytona, Florida to be closer to her family. She enjoys crafting, spending time with family and helping others. "I look forward to meeting our wonderful guests and welcoming them into the Sugar Loaf Ford Family."
